Software Development

In recent years, we have invested in software development and in-house product development. Despite TV Tools being a young(ish) player in the software industry, our software development team, Dev Team, has deployed large-scale solutions. Software development is our fastest growing service area and we are constantly growing our Dev Team.
Mon Tool
We believe that the support of technical solutions should transform from a reactive to a proactive model. Technical problems and downtime can be reduced when alarming changes are detected in a timely manner. For this mission, we have developed the Mon Tool monitoring platform, which makes monitoring effortless.
Embernator
Lawo VSM is one of the most widely used control systems in the broadcast industry. Embernator is an integration platform that extends the functionality of VSM. With Embernator, VSM can control numerous non-natively supported technologies, such as Blackmagic Design and NTP Technologies.
Media Pocket
Media Pocket is the cloud service for intelligent media management. We have developed it in collaboration with our subsidiary Media Tailor. Media Pocket is one of our fastest evolving products. It enables secure long-term cloud storage for media assets and empowers productions with AI features. We are currently developing features to especially serve production and media companies.
Media Tailor media logistics platform
Streamlining and automation of the media content supply chain is the core business of our subsidiary. For this mission, we have developed a modern and highly automated service platform. Each year, the platform performs 1.5 million automated workflows and delivers more than 20,000 programs for TV and VOD distribution.
Media Tailor playout center
We developed integrations in Media Tailor’s playout system for the following technologies:

- Riedel MediorNet video and audio infrastructure
- Vizrt graphics system
- CasparCG graphics system
- Digita HybridiTV service
- SCTE-104 triggering
Media Tailor Graphics Hub
We developed a full-fledged graphics system for Media Tailor’s playout operations.
In addition to being a major software development project, Graphics Hub is a good example of our ability to deliver turnkey solutions. On top of the software development, TV Tools implemented all needed media technology and infrastructure.
