IBC 2023: Lawo HOME Apps
Lawo launched a versatile server-based HOME Apps solution for video and audio processing, installable on standard servers, data centers, and the cloud. Scalable through licensing, it seamlessly integrates into the Lawo HOME ecosystem, offering features like multi-image division, video signal transcoding, cross conversions, and HTML5 graphics attachment.
HOME’s existing pillars, Connectivity, Security, and Management, are now complemented by a fourth pillar—Processing. This addition ensures the future resilience and introduces remarkable agility and flexibility media companies’ operations.
Home Apps Processing component fills a gap in the Lawo environment, allowing their products to be used to build a high-end system for media companies that do not compromise on quality.
By integrating Home Apps’ processing capabilities with A_UHD and .edge devices, a highly efficient production environment can be established, all managed centrally through Lawo’s user-friendly web-based Home GUI interface.
