The SP3 Prime Lens Series draws inspiration from the classic Speed Panchro, a beloved classic in Hollywood’s lens repertoire. With specialized Cooke cinematic optical coatings, it excels in flare control and color consistency. Featuring scratch-resistant coatings and shared architecture for swift lens changes, SP3 lenses are built to endure. SP3 has a standardised 0.8 MOD focus and iris drive gears. The 25mm to 75mm have a fixed common front diameter of 64mm; the 100m has a front diameter of 82mm.

What truly sets them apart is their exceptional resolution capabilities, delivering stunning sharpness on modern digital sensors, from UHD to 12K.The SP3 lenses incorporate a deliberate sharpness at the center of the image, which is elegantly balanced by a gradual softening towards the edges of the frame. This feature provides cinematographers with an added dimension to craft their images. One of the primary imaging benefits of using SP3 lenses is their ability to maintain sharpness along the optical axis, resulting in a crisp central image. This quality harmonizes with a subtle, natural blurring effect toward the frame’s periphery, mimicking the way the human eye perceives the world.
